The EFI Onlus Association was born mainly to support the mission of the Emmanuel Family Institute in a river village in Nigeria: Igbedor, where poverty, illiteracy and disease risk halving the population, favoring the migration of young people.

Distance Support (DS) is a "concrete gesture of solidarity" to offer the opportunity for autonomous growth to disadvantaged people: it is a concrete aid that aims to avoid, to the subjects involved, the uprooting from their environment, offering them hope for the future, that is an opportunity to get out of this underdevelopment.
